Technology Demonstrator

• The technologies developed in Interflex will be demonstrated in an energy autonomous system-in-foil.

• The system will measure the indoor air quality with four sensors and transmit the data wirelessly to an external receiver.

• The sensors will monitor temperature, dew point, humidity and carbondioxide threshold value.

• Flexible photovoltaic arrays and rechargeable flexible thin film batteries will be used for energy harvesting and storage.

• All subsystems (energy, sensors, communication) are realized on printed circuit foils with foil components, passives and thinned ICs.

• The system-in-foil will be realized by three dimensional mechanical and electrical integration of these foils

• It will be conformable with a bending radius up to ½ of its maximum dimension.
